Without wanting to jinx things....

Just started to bring him back into work...after having issues with him pulling shoes off every five seconds & then Fenella coming up & giving him an hours pulling & prodding he finally seems to be okay.

Rode for the first time last night and he was a cheeky little shit - typical ride from him when he hasn't been worked for a while. Fingers crossed this won't last long - now aiming for an ODE at the end of April. He has lost most of his muscle etc so its going to be a long road ahead unfortunately.

And that brings me to my next problem.....as our season has been utter crap I am going to have to ride & compete this winter :( However I melt in the rain so not sure how this is going to work LOL! I have a feeling all will be fine until we get saturated at one show & then I will just flag the whole idea like every other winter :)

Fingers crossed he is better now - been a very stressful & frustrating few months.

Update

Fingers crossed all is looking good...have got Fenella coming up next week to check him over & I am sure she is going to give him the go ahead.

Now we just need it to rain for a while so the ground isn't so freakin hard! I don't really want to do too much with it being this hard & now the heat has arrived I can't see myself competing for a few months! Bit unfair to expect him to perform in this heat when I myself can't cope with it!

We shall see....never say never & all that LOL!
